Assignment Details
In Unit 4, you submitted your Capstone paper – and in Unit 5, you will now write a Capstone executive summary for it. An executive summary is a synopsis or a brief presentation of your Unit 4 Capstone project. In only 1-2 pages, it presents a “big picture view” of your Capstone scenario. As a hypothetical example, if you write a 200 page report for your employer, it is unlikely that the chief executive officer (CEO) will read your entire 200 page report. Instead, you will write a 1-2 page executive summary, which will provide the CEO with just enough information to enable them to understand the big project or proposal. The executive summary should enable the CEO to make informed decisions about the project, such as whether or not to fund, sponsor or implement it. Community stakeholders and government leaders also read executive summaries.
