Once it loads, click the red button to start. Keep notes on the decision you make, and the result. There is no right or wrong, so don’t “game” it. Challenge yourself, have fun, continue learning, and post your analysis as a 1.5 page paper.
-In the first page, show your decision and the correct decision (if different) and why it is the best decision in a matrix
-screen shot the final simulator results and paste it to the bottom of the homework. In the final paragraph (the last 0.5 pages), discuss how you would use what you learned in the decision making process to manage the supply chain.
Supply chain management includes all processes starting from the development of a product or service and delivering it to the final consumer. A targeted attack can do more than just bring major corporations to the brink of catastrophic collapse. This is the weakness of the supply chain. Decision making as a CEO, without the detailed experience of or background in key topics such as the SW development, is difficult. Yet it’s something you must be prepared to do in this ever changing world leading technology that transforms, since no CEO is a subject matter expert in end-to-end corporate domains. So through this exercise we want to relate the supply chain and technology to your leadership decision making. In this exercise, the supply chain is represented by those aspects that are reflected in the precautions / risks of an attacker impacting the SW rollout, and is further impacted in the supply chain by the media interaction. The Supply Chain will create the many and various challenges upon which you will make decision, and has to be considered in terms of the strategy, differentiation, competitive advantage and profitability goals.
Tie your results in the game to supply chain decision making lessons as you lead a company in technology that transforms!
To repeat from paragraph 1 of the assignment instructions above, here is a summary of your assignment instructions:
Part A) In the first page, show your decisions from the simulator, along with the correct decision (if different) and why it is the best decision. You may use a matrix if that is helpful; also, include a screen shot of the final simulator results and paste it to the bottom of the homework.
Part B) In the final paragraph (the last 0.5 pages), discuss how you would use what you learned in the decision making process to manage the supply chain issues in Technology that Transforms.
