Facilitating cross-team collaboration between marketing management function and R&D teams is quite a task. Teams can use their skills and talents to implement improvements all around at Lenovo. Teamwork is really important and Lenovo can set itself apart from the competition by having a powerful collaborative dynamic. Management plays a key role in collaborative efforts because when employees witness management taking responsible action and encouraging teamwork, they are more incentivized to participate themselves. Advertising is a very strong way to communicate new changes and features to Lenovo’s customers. I think that customers have to be attracted to and drawn to Lenovo’s products if the company is going to see more profit. There certainly needs to be more measurable data in order to analyze the success of Lenovo’s sales as well. The company has to be able to track the sales of its products and support the needs of its customers. Another area to consider is the quality of Lenovo’s products as well because if its service and products it provides are better than that of its competitors, it will have a better chance of increased sales.

To facilitate cross-team collaboration between the marketing management function and R&D teams at Lenovo, I would first ensure that both teams clearly understand their responsibilities and objectives (Lindblom & Martins, 2022). I encourage both teams to communicate regularly, either in person or through video conferencing, to ensure everyone is on the same page. Additionally, I ensure that each team clearly understands the other team’s processes and workflows, as well as the project’s overall objectives. This will help foster better collaboration between the two teams.

I would use digital marketing tactics such as email campaigns, social media posts, and content marketing to communicate new features to customers. I would also use traditional advertising methods such as print ads and radio spots. Additionally, I would ensure that the messaging is focused on the benefits of the new features rather than the features themselves.

I would track key performance indicators such as customer satisfaction, customer feedback, and sales figures to measure the team’s success. I would also track metrics such as website traffic and time spent on the website and engagement metrics such as social media shares and comments. Additionally, I would use analytics tools to track how effectively the team’s marketing campaigns drive conversions. Ultimately, I would use all these metrics to ensure the team meets its goals and objectives.
