Study the human resource management department of any one organization operating in Oman and write a case study.
You will need to select an organization that has a formal HR department. Your case study should consist followings
- Background / History of the organization.
- Industry information (a comprehensive information about the industry in which that organization is operating)
- Information about direct and indirect competitors
- Information about the followings
- Organizational strategy (including visions and mission)
- Organizational structure including structure of HR department
- HR functions and HR strategy
- And processes.
- Note: I expect we get detailed information about every function of HRM.
- HR related challenges and issues that organization faced in the past
- HR related challenges and issues organization is facing currently.
Rubrics for assessment
- Clear indication of distribution of work among group members, highlighting contribution of each group member clearly.
- Your report should also state method of data collection, how organization was shortlisted, and how they were approached.
- Please provide audio recording of the interview(s)
- Interviews shall be conducted in English.
- References if you take data from website, etc
- Analysis of the data and presentation of the data
- Report writing (clarity, cohesiveness, completeness etc).
- You are also expected to give a presentation as per outline plan.
