Instructions
In this assignment, you will write a reflective assignment discussing and evaluating your development as a writer over the course of this class. You will respond to several questions, make claims about your writing, and then provide reasoning and evidence to support your claims. Within the context of your responses, include commentary on most of the following course topics as well as others that have been significant to you:
- Writing process (organizing, outlining, drafting, conferencing, revising, editing, publishing)
- Rhetorical situation/rhetoric and persuasion
- Reasoning strategies/textual and rhetorical analysis
- Evidentiary strategies: evaluation/research
- Word choice/leads/transitions
- Thesis statement/structure and organization/introductions/[removed]conclusions
Follow these steps to submit your assignment:
- Review the rubric for how your assignment will be scored.
- Read over any feedback you have gotten on your assignment.
- Revise and finalize your assignment. Your assignment should be:
- A minimum of 2 pages
- Typed in Microsoft Word (Get a FREE version of MS Word for Lone Star College students.)
- Formatted with double spacing, clear paragraph divisions, and citations in MLA format.
- Look over your assignment one more time to make sure you are meeting the criteria listed in the assignment sheet.
- Save your Word file with your name in the file title to a location you can easily access (perhaps your OneDrive account).
- Submit your Word file to this assignment folder by the due date.
