Discussion Question Instructions

  • You must provide an initial discussion question by the due date each Week.
  • You must also respond to one of your Classmates’ initial postings by the set due date each Week.
  • All participation in discussions must be complete for credit by the set due date. 
  • Late discussion posts will have points deductions if posted after the set due date. 
  • Respond in one of the following ways:
  1.  Ask a probing question.
  2.  Share an insight from having read your peer’s post.
  3.  Offer and support an opinion.
  4.  Validate an idea with your own experience.
  5.  Make a suggestion.

Writing Requirements

  • In addition to one initial post, respond to at least one peer.
  • Initial Post Length: minimum of 200 words.
  • Secondary Post Length: minimum of 150 words per post.
  • Using APA format, incorporate appropriate in-text citation(s) and corresponding references page for the initial post.

  • You can view other students’ responses after you have submitted your post.
  • You may ‘Save’ your work if you are not ready to post your response.
  • Do not hit ‘Submit’ until you are ready to post your response.
