Evaluation: Evaluation in terms of Internal Criteria

Objective: The student will develop judgments of the communication on the

foundation of internal evidence based on consistency, completeness, and clarity.

Prospectus: The student will evaluate the piece of communication by

following a process in which he/she will create a judgment. The process, to

make the judgment, involves the appreciation of values. If the process

conveys to an opinion and not to an evaluation, the process has to be re-

directed to find specific principles, then the student must apply precise

criteria such as: exactness, efficiency, economy, approval, common sense, and

usefulness to define the evaluation.

his/her own values and the means the author used to attain a

desired end.

Prospectus: The student will evaluate the piece of message by following a

procedure in which he/she will form a judgment. The development, to make

the judgment, involves the approval of values. If the process conveys to an

judgment and not to an evaluation, the process has to be re-directed to find

specific principles, then the student must relate exact criteria such as:

accuracy, competence, economy, agreement, common sense, and usefulness

to describe the assessment.
