I can See it – Color shirts using different shaped iced, each student will get 2 bandanas to test
which size ice they think will create the Tie Dye design first in the outside cool air.
I can Taste it | Ice Cream – Students will think about how long they will have to shake the
mixture of ice, milk and salt before it turns from a liquid to a solid; using a sweet alond milk to
enjoy the sweet taste.
I can feel it | Ice Fishing- There will 3 different sensory bins filled with fake fish and ice. Each bin
will have a different amount of ice and children will have to grab as many fish as they can in 60
seconds.
I can Here it – Introduce the children to Hail and snow by watching a video and learning the
sounds. Then have them close their eyes and listen to the sounds and tell which one they think
they hear.
I can Smell it- Create Sensory Bins with different things that animals that hibernate store for the
winter. The bins will smell like Nature and include things like acorns, berries, pine cones, leaves,
prebark and wood.
