 Based off of the unit 1 readings and your own research what is multiculturalism and what does it mean to have a multicultural perspective? Find a news stories on a social issue or diversity topic as an example and apply a multicultural perspective. If the story focused on discrimination, bias, or a social problem how might the story be different if this multicultural perspective had been applied? If the story focused on inclusion or social justice how did the people hightlighted use a multicultural perspective to confront a social issue?
